RN Records Fast and rising dancehall artiste TIPGY has aired his view about the ongoing industry beefs .According to TIPGY,the beefs that are now rampant in the industry is set to spoil the music industry in the future which will go against the upcoming acts like himself.
”The Ghana Music Industry has been so vulnerable to the extent that artiste no longer work hard to gain recognition, its only the violent and controversial that are heard and hyped.I think our seniors in the industry are now deviating from what our predecessors were doing previously.
At first artiste were recognised through talents, hardwork and humility but now to gain audience in Ghana, one has to play the role of controversy, and this is making most of us lazy which will oneday destroy many talents in this country.Industry beefs are normal but in Ghana it has become an order of the day.Looking at Nigerian acts, they promote themselves through their colleagues and not through volience and feuds”
The Put MI On singer, concluded by pleading with senior colleagues like Shatta Wale,Yaa Pono and Quata to reconcile whatever feud they might have gotten themselves into and ensure peace as they the upcoming acts are learning from them.
He went further to plead with the masses(the fans) to enjoy music and not hype voilence and controversy.
Tipgy is set to release another collab single dubbed BACK 2 BACK,after releasing tracks like Cry No More,Mighty and He Put Mi On.
