International Women’s Day Special celebration

This month, in celebration of the International Women’s Day, we will be celebrating 15 women doing amazing work in Africa.

Today, we celebrate Elizabeth Wuraola Kolade from Nigeria, a Cyber Security Expert.
Elizabeth Wuraola Kolade is a Nigerian Cyber Security Expert, Tech enthusiast and computer programmer. She is the founder of The CyberWura. The CyberWura is a Start Up that delivers all round Tech Solutions with a vested interest in Cyber Security. She has rendered consultancy services to Start-ups, SME and captains of industries.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Cyber Security from the prestigious Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State – Nigeria. Elizabeth is a member of the Cyber Security Experts Association of Nigeria, (CSEAN).
Amongst rendering Cyber Security services, Elizabeth believes Cyber Security begins with the human behind the computer, therefore she has been involved in carrying out cyber security awareness to organizations and Schools. Elizabeth is passionate about raising a cyber-security conscious generation in preparation for the reality ahead.
She is a Volunteer and the Strategy and Operations Coordinator of “Abocoders”; a Non-Governmental Organisation that aims to bridge the digital divide between technology and the Feminine gender. Elizabeth has successfully trained over 100 young girls in Digital literacy, Computer Security and Privacy.

She also provides mentor-ship in Tech Career opportunities.
Elizabeth was one among the Co-organizer and Coach at Django Girls Abuja and will also be Co-organizing Django Girls Accra in June, 2017.
Elizabeth is a Fellow of The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), Accra Regional Leadership Centre.
